What's my story?
Who am I? Photographer? Marketer? Website designer? Freelancer? Project manager? Entrepreneur? Problem solver?
No one knows. Not even me. What I do know is that I’ve never had a “real job” in my life. I haven’t worked a day in my life because I like what I do.
I’ve been freelancing all my life. It all started when I discovered my passion for photography as a teenager. Very quickly, I began offering it as a service to small businesses.
When I was 16, I was into dancing and met some cool young dancers who were building a hip-hop dance school—something never before seen in Pärnu. Lots of cool dance videos (and photos), shows, and events happened! That was back when social media marketing wasn’t yet considered a real thing, but as the secretary (and later manager) of the school, it was one of my tasks to dive into Facebook marketing.
At some point, I realized I needed to showcase my photography work online. I spent two years learning how to build a website on my own. When I finally published it, people started asking me if I could build them a website as well. Suddenly, I was a web designer.
After graduating from high school with the worst math exam results, I thought it would be easier to build a startup community from scratch in Pärnu than re-take the math exam to get into university (probably not true, btw). So somehow, I found myself building Pärnu’s first co-working space with the most awesome entrepreneurs in the city.
While managing the co-working space for a few years, we organized a LOT of events. As with any small business, I had to do the marketing and design myself. This is how I began to dive more deeply into marketing.
Today, I mostly build websites, market various events and businesses, and, from time to time, take photos of cool events or pretty real estate.
I am the kind of person who tackles anything that comes her way. I like challenges and learning new things.
What do I like to do the most? Super cool things with super cool people. It’s not about the “what”; it’s about the “who”!
